Ethics

"An ethical court system will be one that is self-reflective, with an agreed purpose and set of outcomes and approcaches, along with a strong understanding that these outcomes/goals/approaches will be in conflict with each other from time to time. And it will have processess for reconciling these conflicts in a transparent manner and taking account of the various stakeholders of the system.

An ethical organization is so because the people who make it up choose to be that way. Your court system will reflect the people who make it up. It is they who must work to change the way the system operates and is perceived. Some work can be done by regulation but this will not be enough by itself to create an ethical system."
